Daniel Jackson is a multimedia designer focused primarily on video and interaction design for live performance. Daniel uses his extensive knowledge of video equipment and software programming to design integrated systems for video display and interaction. His interest in the deployment of images in real space has lead to a unique understanding of how audiences experience video in live performances, and how cinematic concepts might be transferred into live performance contexts.

Originally from San Antonio, Texas, Daniel has worked in various capacities in theaters as diverse as Jump-Start Peformance Co. (San Antonio, TX) and The Wooster Group (New York, NY).

Daniel received his MFA in Video Design and Interactive Media for Performance and Integrated Media at the California Institute of the Arts in 2015.
