Users of the Projection-Mapped Interactive Musical Toy encounter a small keyboard near a balcony and upon pressing the keys begin to produce colored orbs that bounce and produce a melody or cacophony. The Projection-Mapped Interactive Musical Toy activates the architecture of the California Institute of the Arts, and because of the unique repeating pattern of the building’s balconies it can be installed almost anywhere on campus.
